Frequently Asked Questions ( FAQs) – The Doggie Lift

Frequently Asked Questions ( FAQs)

1. Does this really work?

ABSOLUTELY! You can bring us any dog and we will have an average success rate of 92%!

2. What are some tricks/tips that can help me succeed?

Medication from your veterinarian. Try Trazodone first. If that Doesn't work then try Acepromazine.
Using a cone of shame or a muzzle so that they are less reactive.

2. Should I start with the front paws or the back paws?

ALWAYS start with the FRONT PAWS. This is because some dogs will use their back paws to try to push you off when you are cutting the front nails. If you cut the back ones first, they get sharp and you may get scratched very hard. START WITH THE FRONT PAWS!

3. My dog is trying to bite me! What do I do?

Please use a muzzle. No one wants to get bit. Plus if you use a muzzle, it will deactivate some dogs and make it easier. Another option is using an Elizabethan collar aka The Cone of Shame.

4. How does the Doggie Lift attach to the door?

Just like the door pull-up bar, you can simply fit it into your door frame and remove it. No installing necessary.
