Supporting Straps

I've only used it twice so far. When i ordered it I didn't realize that the trim at the top of the door frame was holding all the weight. I live in a manufactured home so the trim is only glued on. Thankfully my girl only weighs 12 pounds.
Assembly was kind of awkward. I used the included tools. Would have been easier to use my socket set. Two things that bothered me. The square plastic end piece for the square tube. Why was it not attached? Made no sense to me. Had to use my rubber mallet to install it.
The other thing was the foam grips. No way was I'm getting it on without some assistance. I used talc powder. Worked great.
I've used it twice, my girl is still unsure of being off the ground. I must say that cutting her nails with the Doggie Lift is light years easier than fighting with her. I am pleased with my purchase. Thank you.

These are really nice adjustable straps. They should last many years. Highly recommend.

My golden boy hates to have his nails done and this makes it possible. The only thing I wish was something to pull or hold on to while lifting or lowering. He’s not that much lighter than me so I have to pull him up at the same time I pull the strap and once it’s his total weight I’m only able to move him centimeters at a time. I’d hold onto where the clips are but I’m afraid that the plastic clips will break from my 95 pound big boy.

These straps make this so easy to use!!
