XL Harness (71-120lbs / 32-54.5kgs)

I have a Whippet who outgrew the size M. Upon consulting the L was recommended and it probably would have been perfect but to be safe (she has a large chest) I ordered the XL. It's a bit long but I'm satisfied.

The steel frame is great but the plastic clip for the harness broke on first use.

It would help tremendously if there was some way to stabilize the straps once the dog is lifted. Both our dogs twist around making it challenging to safely trim their nails. Not sure yet if I'll be returning it.

My 80 lbs rescue dog has had a lot of problems in the last year I’ve had her. Grooming has been very difficult. She’s not aggressive just big and wiggly. I’ve tried 3 groomers and they couldn’t get more than 3 nails at a time. I was cutting a nail every night. It was no way to live. The first time I used this I thought it was witch craft haha. She just froze. I trimmed her fur, cut and file all her nails and she only started panting on the last paw!! I just finished the second use. She definitely does not enjoy it. She was shaking the whole time but in 15 minutes all her nails were cut and filed and paws groomed. I have felt like such a failure with her nails and I’m so relieved for her to not look homeless any more haha

It is such better quality than the crappy Amazon harnesses. What we like most about it is it has very large cutout for the rear legs. Those cheap Amazon harnesses just have two small circular cutouts for the rear legs and it ends up cutting off circulation. This harness is super roomy and supportive.
